Cass Art student day!!

After uni a friend and I made our way to the Cass Art store in Angel. The Cass Art store supplies all types of creative art materials and after receiving an e-mail about their student day I couldn't wait to go - despite very long queues and crowds which made tube stations at peak times seem like a walk in the park.
Before we even got to the store I saw a gigantic queue going down a different road and I knew that was the line. I am a very impatient person but seeing as Cass Art wasn't going to hold another event like this for another 6 months, I stayed put (good thing I bought a big packet of Skittles beforehand).

 Why the big excitement?
- 15% off everything
- an Artist Quality Box worth £35 with any purchase of £1
- an exclusive Student Day discount booklet with 24 offers
- plus goodie bags, competitions, discounts from local bars and restaurants and free frozen yoghurt! (my main reason for going... I love my frozen yoghurt).

So, after lugging my heavy bag around for a good half hour in the store, my friend and I took turns waiting in the paying queue after realising that the line was moving so slowly we could have gone around the store picking more items. I bought a bunch of different sized sketch pads, gouache, mechanical pencils, art storage box, A4 portfolio, Indian ink all for £42.92 which was a bargain seeing as some were already on sale and I got the 15% on top!

I wanted to take pictures of the queue but I had no flash! So I took photos of my purchased items :) better than no photos right?

Sorry for the bad quality, I need a new camera (or some skills).
